Object Name Cup, Coffee
Description This cup is decorated with the initials "A.J." and the crest of the Johnstone family of Ireland. One possible original owner is Lieutenant Andrew Johnstone of County Fermanagh, Ireland, who died in Calcutta in 1810. It is not known if he used this crest, but his initials match and he would have had the opportunity to order porcelain while in India.
