Object Name Caddy, Tea
Description Tea caddy having a rectangular body with curved shoulders, cylindrical neck, and a domed cover with a fruit-shaped knop; painted in overglaze famille rose enamels with a blue and gold star border at the edges of the shoulder and the cover and a figure of Hope leaning on her anchor and a sailing ship on the sides.

The ship flies a red and white striped flag, which may be intended to be the American flag but missing the canton with its stars.
