Object Name Cup, Coffee
Description This cup is from a service made for the MacDonald family of the Isle of Sky in Scotland. The service may have been made for Archibald MacDonald, a barrister based in London who held several political posts, including Solicitor General in 1784, Attorney General in 1788, and Chief Baron of the Exchequer in 1793. He married Elizabeth Leveson-Gower in 1771, and was created Baron of East Sheen in 1813.
