|Object Name||Cup, Coffee|
This cup is from a service made for William and Jane Brooke Hulton of Hulton Park in Lancashire near Manchester, England. They married on August 25, 1785, and this service was probably made to celebrate their marriage.
The Hulton arms on the viewer's left are quartered, and reflect descent from Roger de Hulton and his wife, Elenor de Hulton, who married in the fifteenth century.
