Circular saucer painted in overglaze grisaille (gray) enamels and gold with three floral sprays on the inward sloping sides and a circular panel containing a landscape scene with three musicians and a dancing lady.
The scene is based on an engraving by Charles-Nicholas Cochin I (1688-1754) after Jean Antoine Watteau's "Danse Paysanne" of about 1714.
