Object Name Cup, Coffee
Description This cup is decorated with the arms of the Bland family of Kippax Park, in Yorkshire, England. The cup could have been made for Hungerford Bland before he inherited a baronetcy from his brother. However, bookplates with nearly identical arms are known to have been made for a Joseph Bland, Robert Bland M.D., and Michael Bland, suggesting that the arms were used by other people with the same last name.
